Privacy Promise
We built Duly to help you stay on top of your commitments — not to profit from your data. Here's exactly what that means.
Duly scans your messages to do one job: surface the commitments and deadlines buried in them. Your conversations are never stored, used to train AI models, sold, or shared with third parties for any other purpose.
Most AI email tools need to store your message content to function. Duly doesn't. It processes messages in real-time to extract commitments and deadlines, then discards the raw content. The result: Duly knows what you've promised and to whom, but never holds onto your conversations.

What we access
To find your commitments, Duly processes messages from the platforms you connect — such as email, Teams, Slack, and calendar. Duly scans only what's needed to detect commitments, deadlines, and follow-ups.
What Duly NEVER does
- Stores raw message content.
- Accesses your documents or attachments.
- Sells your data or message content.
- Uses your data to train AI models.
- Shares your personal information with advertisers.
- Accesses messages outside of the platforms you explicitly connect.
Secure AI processing
Your data stays yours — Duly never uses your data for any purpose beyond managing your commitments. Our AI provider (Anthropic) does not use API data to train models, and Duly retains full ownership of all inputs and outputs on your behalf.
How your data is stored
We store only the structured output of Duly scans — commitment summaries, due dates, and context snippets — never the raw content of your messages. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Data is only retained as long as a commitment is outstanding. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
Your controls
You choose which platforms to connect. You can disconnect any source or delete your account entirely at any time from your settings. When you delete your account, any remaining data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Third-party services
Duly uses a small number of third-party services to operate — including cloud infrastructure and AI providers. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
Changes to this promise
If we ever need to update this promise in a way that reduces your privacy protections, we'll notify you directly and give you the choice to opt out before any changes take effect.
